0: powdered sugar Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar

1: Mix egg yolks and milk together well

2: Add this mixture to the dry ingredients

3: Stir until just blended

4: Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into batter

5: Heat aebleskiver pan

6: Spoon 1/2 teaspoon oil into each section and fill 2/3 full with batter

7: Cook over medium heat until bubbles appear

8: Turn with a fork or skewer and cook the other side until lightly browned

9: To vary flavor, add a slice of banana or peach to each section before it is turned

10: Dust with powdered sugar and serve with butter and jam or syrup

11: Makes about 28 aebleskivers
