Directions

0: Place strawberries in medium bowl

1: Sprinkle lightly with sugar to taste

2: Let strawberries stand until thawed, then slice

3: Preheat oven to 350øF

4: Butter and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans

5: Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda in large bowl and mix well

6: Blend oil and eggs into strawberries

7: Add to flour mixture

8: Stir pecans, blending until dry ingredients are just moistened

9: Divide batter between pans

10: Bake loaves until tester inserted in centers comes out clean, about 45 to 50 minutes

11: Let cool in pans on rack for 10 minutes

12: Turn loaves out and cool completely

13: Makes 2 loaves
