Ingredients

8 : c Flour

2 : c Lukewarm milk

1 : /2 c Lukewarm water

1 : Cake household yeast

1 : c Sugar

1 : ts Salt

44 : Eggs (whole; beaten)

1 : c Melted butter or oleo

Directions

0: Preheat the oven to 325~ F

2: Put your feet up after a hard day's work and enjoy a few with a glass of fresh lemonade

3: 325~ F 20 to 25 minutes Stir together the flour, oats, salt, and sugar in a large bowl or in the food processor

4: Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal

5: Blend in enough of the milk to form a dough that will hold together in a cohesive ball

6: Divid the dough into 2 equal portions for rolling

7: On a floured surface or pastry cloth, roll as thin as possible, to about 1/16 inch thick

8: Using a spatula, rolling pin, or your hands, transfer the rolled dough gently onto a large baking sheet

9: With a sharp knife, score the dough into 2-inch squares without cutting all the way throug the dough

10: Prick each square 2 or 3 times with the tines of a fork

11: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning over after 15 minutes, until crisp

12: Cool on a rack

13: Break into individual crackers when cool

14: Yield: 50-60
