Ingredients

1 : c Vanilla wafer crumbs

3/4 : c Soft butter

2 : c Confectioners sugar

2 : Egg yolks

2 : Egg whites

1 : cn (9-oz) crushed pineapple;

-drained : -drained

1/2 : c Pecans or walnuts; chopped

Cherries : Cherries

1 : sm Onion; grated

1 : ts Cooking oil

1/2 : lb Ground beef, lean

1 : ts Salt

1 : ts Cumin

1 : Garlic clove; minced

1/4 : ts Hot sauce; to 1/2 ts.

18 : Tortillas; fresh

2 : c Cheese; shredded

Directions

0: Combine all ingredients except water

1: Add water slowly, until dough is soft, but does not stick to hands

2: Knead dough until satiny

3: Softer dough is easier to roll

4: Make 2 inch balls of dough, and flatten, roll on floured surface with a light rolling pin

5: Cook on cast iron griddle, that has been preheated

6: Griddle should be hot enough to burn dough in less than 20 seconds

7: Adjustments are neces- sary, especially on electric stoves

8: Heat is approximately 300 F
